Have you noticed? How could you not?

1) That prices and costs are up on everything from lumber to cheese.

2) The doctor’s offices are way understaffed. One doctor’s voicemail says to come into their office during business hours because they are so severely understaffed they can’t answer their phone calls.

3) The gas/oil industry can’t find drivers to deliver gas to gas stations. The medical community can’t find drivers for the ambulances.

4) Most humans are suffering from mental and emotional stress.

5) Many humans have decided the jobs they had before are no longer acceptable, and with or without stimulus money they want, need a change.

6) Some humans are not making rational decisions, and are instead taking their frustrations out on their fellow humans via shootouts and mugging in broad daylight, petty behaviors, and mean-spirited responses to simple queries.

7) People are buying homes and land at such a rate that bidding wars are now the norm.

8) most people are searching for work from home, remote positions. They do not want to go back into the office.
All of this stress, change, good, bad; took about 18 months to happen. The world changed forever in just over a year. Some of you are hoping to get back to normal. I don’t believe we’re going back to ‘normal’.

I believe we need to do the best with what we now have and will be given. Life was changing before the pandemic but the change was so slow we did not notice.

Bottom line: life is about change. Nothing remains the same, pandemic or not. Stop looking backward, and instead look ahead. Maintain a firm foundation in your Christian beliefs, if you are a Believer.
We must do our best not to confuse unbelievers with our behavior online, in traffic, or at the grocery store.
Remain pliable as change happens. Change is not bad, it’s just different.
—Civilla.
